Hello Everyone!

Our upcoming annual meeting and Board elections will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, May 23rd (Memorial Day Weekend) at the Community Park. An agenda regarding the meeting will be shared at least 10 days prior. Nominees for the Board are being accepted, and below are the members who are running for Board positions. If the date of the meeting needs to be changed due to COVID-19 concerns, we will share an updated meeting time. Please see the below 2020 Proxy and Ballot: copy and paste this into an email with your information and send to [email protected].

Little Choga’s Place Property Owners’ Association Appointment of Proxy and Ballot 2020

1. Ballot Item 1 - Proxy:
I,_____________________________________________ a member of Little Choga’s Place Property Owners’ Association, Inc., a North Carolina not for profit corporation, hereby constitute and appoint the following proxy with full power of substitution to act on my behalf as indicated below for all matters coming forth at the Annual Meeting of Members of the Association to be held on May 23, 2020 at 11 am at the community park/docks.

Option B- I give my Proxy to the person named below to vote on all matters on my behalf, except as I have voted on the matter of the adoption of the new Restated Restrictive Covenants and in the Board of Directors election, below. [   ]

2. Ballot Item 2 - Board of Directors Election:
There are five positions on the Board of Directors. Our By-Laws provide that Officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary) are appointed or elected by the Board. Any person listed below has indicated their desire, to me, to stand for election as of March 1, 2020.
 Vote for up to five individuals
 One vote per platted lot.
 Enter the number of votes you hold in the box next to your candidate of choice. (I.e.- If you have two votes, place the number 2 in up to five boxes). No cumulative voting.
 You may write-in the name of any member in good standing.

    Dear Property Owners:

    Our annual LCPPOA meeting is May 28th at 9:30am in the common area. Please make plans to attend.  This is an election year for the board. Anyone, in good standing, that's interested in running should contact me prior to April 28th. There's 5 board positions, president, vice president, treasurer, secretary and an at large position. currently, all existing members of the board intend to run for reelection. Refer to the covenants and by-laws for a description of each position. Early in May, we'll be sending out ballots and proxies.  All proxies will need to be post marked no later than May 15th.  
    See you at the lake.

    - A Special Meeting is being called for August 29 in the Vista common area upper parking lot to vote on a proposed security gate
    - Road safety improvements were recently made to include blind curve mirrors and speed limit/caution signs. See PHOTO GALLERY under "About" page for pictures!
    - Friends of Nantahala Lake (FONL) lakewide association has a new website at fonl.org. Take a look at what they are doing, and access updated boating safety guidelines!
